Everyday, we need to communicate with other people, cooperate with your colleagues. Today, we will talk about a special way to do that, Do by using Mind Maps.
Weeks ago, Chuck Frey wrote a post about online mind map gallery,
Mind map galleries provide places to share your maps and get inspired . He mentioned five online galleries. One is XMind.net(aka. XMind Share), which is what I am using. I would like to share some experience about using XMind Share.
XMind Share is Free XMind Online service. Before enjoying it, you should have three things, an account on xmind.net, the desktop software, and a browser.
You can get this account at the
sign up page. The desktop software of course is
XMind. You should have a free version on your computer at least. As for the browser, you should choose the "compatibility view"if using IE 8. Now, we can see, this service is total free.
In fact, I am using XMind Pro. So I have an advanced XMind Share feature : Private Share. When uploading a map in XMind Pro, there is "Private" option in the upload dialog. Then this map will be labeled private after be chosen "private" and uploaded. No person would see this private map unless he gets my invitation email. But most time, I use this feature to store my maps, then I can download and edit it to go on work at home.
At last, I would like to share two screenshots about using XMind Share:
1> "Upload" button on the toolbar in XMind

2> Upload dialog

Hope this can help you to have a new way to share with the world. Of course, you can write your experience too.
