I think it's a good feature. Maybe XMind will consider about it later.

I see that in Xmind, I can set the properties for text in a topic easily. It works very well, and looks great. One point I miss is the ability to select a specific word or phrase within a topic, and give that a different font, size, effect or colo...

Paul, Thanks for the reply. I think in terms of development, what I would like is that I can choose from the GUI which shape I want as default for a certain map. The easiest way to do this for a user is to be able to check "make this shape the de...

I see. This would be a good feature.

That's exactly the problem. This concerned screen dumps from a program that I want to use as illustrations. These are local. It'd be nice if the paste function could be incorporated in a future release.

if that image is online, you can drag and drop it into XMind. Pasting does not work at present.

If I copy an image in Windows, normally I can paste this where I want to in Word. This works also in CMAP. But it doesn't work in XMind. This means I need to save the image first, and then add it via the Insert function. Is there a way around this...

Use Ctrl-Enter when you're editing a node/topic, and it will make a line break for you.
